Strong Link vs Conjugate Link |
It has been pointed out to me that my definition of a strong
link is not correct. Apparently a candidate that appears twice
in a house is a CONJUGATE LINK (one must be false, one must be true).
A strong link exists when at least one must be true but it is
possible for both to be true. (These strongly linked candidates must exist in separate houses, like the ends of a chain.) David P Bird has a eloquent discussion on chains here and I will bow to his expertise. |
